Zoo City FC to Join MLIS Women's League for the 2024-25 Season

Kalamazoo, MI -  Zoo City FC is excited to announce it will be joining the Major League Indoor Soccer (MLIS) for the 2024-2025 season. The MLIS announced the addition of a women’s league March 12, and Zoo City FC is the first team committed for the 2024-25 season.


Zoo City FC is an already established club who is finishing up its current season in the Premier Arena Soccer League (PASL) women’s division. When speaking about the move to the MLIS, owner and player for Zoo City, Jessica Kennedy, said, “ We are grateful to join the MLIS for their inaugural season of the women’s league. This is another step in the right direction for women’s sports, and we are excited to shed more light on indoor soccer as a whole.” 


The MLIS is dedicated to making the women’s league a league for women by women. Dominic Turcotte, MLIS commissioner, said, “We are excited to introduce a professional indoor soccer league for women and provide a platform for talented female athletes to compete at the highest level.”
