Kansas City Barilleros Joins Major League Indoor Soccer Extended

CHICAGO, Ill. (Nov. 26, 2025) - Major League Indoor Soccer Extended (MLISX), an extension of the Major League Indoor Soccer (MLIS), announced today that Barilleros based out of Kansas City, Kansas, has officially joined the league.
The club, led by Owner and Head Coach Mike Garcia, with Emmanuel Camacho and Jesse Calderon serving as team managers, is looking to build upon its already established presence in the region.
The club competed in Major Arena Soccer League 3 (MASL 3) last season before making the move to MLISX.
“MLISX has what we are looking for, and we are honored to be a part of it,” Garcia said.
All home matches will be played in Lenexa, Kansas. Garcia said that the organization looks forward to connecting with other coaches, players and teams throughout the MLIS family including MLIS and Women's Major League Indoor Soccer (WMLIS).
Looking ahead, the organization’s long-term goals include competing at a high level within MLISX, winning matches, setting new standards and becoming a recognized and respected name in the league.
