Milwaukee to Make Debut in New Home

Milwaukee, WI -  Today, the United Group, the owners of a brand new professional indoor soccer franchise, announces that it will be playing its first home game at Uihlein Soccer Park (7202 W. Good Hope) on March 4, 2023. The team replaced the Brew City Legends in January.

Brew City United will move to Uihlein Soccer Park for their remaining home schedule including March 4, 11, 25, and 26.

The Brew City United ownership group is composed of seasoned, community-focused sports personalities, including former players, soccer executives, and grassroots supporters. The team has continued to be coached by Lito Zabala, who also acts as one of the organization's directors, and much of the roster has remained intact.

Director of Strategy Nate Thompkins explained the rebrand. "We have decided to start a new business to strengthen the franchise, improve the brand, help the previous owner, and preserve the soccer history in our community," Thompkins said back in January.

"Milwaukee is such an important urban soccer market," said the club's Chairperson, Dr. Robert Baker. "That's why we are so excited to be working with Coach Zabala and MLIS to make sure that the next generation is getting a chance to showcase their game on a bigger stage."
