COLORADO BUCKS SECURE FIRST WIN IN CLUB HISTORY: THE WEEK THAT WAS 1/22

Following an extensive journey to the Midwest, the Colorado Bucks SC clinched their first victory of the season and first victory in club history against the Ohio Extreme Saturday night. 


In the opening period, Josue Jimenez, supported by Tomas Tapia, set the tone for the Colorado Bucks with an early goal at 10:54, putting them ahead 1-0. The momentum continued in the first period as Josh Thompson widened the gap with a goal at 14:25, making it 2-0 in favor of Colorado. The Ohio Extreme, determined to make their mark, responded with Natxo Sanchez scoring a power-play goal at the start of the second period, bringing the score to 2-1. However, the Colorado Bucks swiftly regained control with goals from Josh Thompson, Ventura Dominguez, and Mario Leon, establishing a commanding lead of 6-2 by the end of the third period.


The final period saw Bryan Vazquez shine for the Colorado Bucks, contributing three goals, while the Ohio Extreme, led by Ian Richey, managed to add a couple more to their tally. The game concluded with a 9-4 victory for the Colorado Bucks, etching a memorable chapter in the club's history!
