Houston Bolt Announces Next Four Signings For The MLIS Professional Team
Houston Bolt Press Release
Your Houston Bolt are excited to officially announce the signing of the next four athletes for the 2022-23 Houston Bolt MLIS Professional season: David Brown, Jonathan Segovia, Jesus "Chuy" Garcia, and Julian Pavon.
David Brown had most recently played with Houston Bolt during the 2021-22 season in the semi-professional Premier Arena Soccer League (PASL) and is excited to be back and now playing at a higher, more competitive, level: “My goal for this season is simple, to win. I’m a very competitive and driven person and I want to win at every opportunity. Which is why I love playing for Bolt because I love the intensity; everyone wants to win and hates to lose.”
Throughout his years of playing, Jonathan "Johnny" Segovia has played for a couple of different Houston teams in USL2 and NPSL but most notably the El Salvador National Team in the first Arena World Cup in 2015. As such, he is excited to play competitive indoor soccer again: “My goal for Houston Bolt this season is to win the league. It won’t be easy, so we have to be dedicated and work hard on and off the field. I believe we will have a strong team and we will leave everything on the field so that we can walk away with a victory every game.”
Jesus "Chuy" Garcia most recently played with Houston Bolt during the 2019-20, 2020-21 and 2021-22 seasons in the semi-professional Premier Arena Soccer League (PASL). He’s excited to continue playing with Bolt, but at the professional level: “My favorite thing about playing for Houston Bolt would be how the staff makes me feel at home.”
Julian Pavon had most recently played with the Greenspoint Gunners in the NSL Premier Division. Being a Houston native he is excited to continue playing for the city professionally: “My goal for Houston Bolt this season is to show the talent we have here in Houston and bring home the trophy.”
