MAJOR LEAGUE INDOOR SOCCER ANNOUNCES PROMOTION
CHICAGO, ILL (September 22, 2025) — Major League Indoor Soccer (MLIS), a professional indoor soccer league operating in the U.S. and Canada, has announced the promotion of Andriana Ruscitto to Director of Communications.
Ruscitto, who joined MLIS in 2023, began as a marketing specialist and was promoted to director of marketing in 2024. During her tenure, she has helped shape the MLIS brand and played a key role in the brand development of the Women’s Major League Indoor Soccer (WMLIS) and Major League Indoor Soccer Extended (MLISX).
Her background spans agency work, editorial, and brand strategy. She previously served as associate editor for Cannabis Business Times, an award-winning national publication, and later transitioned to a Cleveland-based agency before founding RK Collective, a boutique marketing agency in Cleveland.
Ruscitto’s soccer experience also includes five years with the Cleveland Crunch, where she played an integral role in the team’s relaunch and rebrand. Most recently, Ruscitto led marketing efforts for the MLIS and WMLIS Finals held in Cleveland, which drew over 5,000 paid attendees across three days (April 11–13, 2025).
In her new role, Ruscitto will lead the development and execution of messaging across media relations, internal communications, and digital platforms.
“Andriana has been instrumental in elevating our brand and expanding our reach,” said Bernie Lilavois, MLIS commissioner. “Her understanding of the indoor soccer community makes her the ideal person to guide our communications strategy as we enter this next phase of growth.”
