Major League Indoor Soccer Appoints Tanner White as Stats and Information Director

CHICAGO, ILL. (September 5, 2025) — Major League Indoor Soccer (MLIS), has named Tanner White as its new Stats and Information Director. In this role, White will oversee real-time stat tracking and post-game analytics across the league, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and transparency for teams and fans.

White brings over seven years of play-by-play broadcasting experience across a litany of sports at all levels. His portfolio includes work with ESPN+, the Kalamazoo Galaxy, the NFHS Network, and Zoo City FC, a Women’s Major League Indoor Soccer (WMLIS) team. He also served as the announcer for the inaugural WMLIS Championship in April, held in Cleveland.

“Getting in at the ground level last year through broadcasting, I got to see so much of what our leagues could be,” White said. “Now, I'm immensely excited to have a hand in helping them get there!”

MLIS Commissioner Bernie Lilavois praised White’s appointment:

“Tanner’s deep experience in play-by-play and his understanding of the game make him the ideal fit for this role. His attention to detail and passion for the sport will be invaluable as we continue to grow.”

MLIS currently features 13 teams while WMLIS features 6 teams and both continue to expand its footprint across North America.
