Major League Indoor Soccer Extended Announces Regular Season Awards

Chicago, Illinois – April 16, 2026 – Major League Indoor Soccer Extended (MLISX) announced its 2025–26 regular season award winners today.

MLISX is an extension of Major League Indoor Soccer (MLIS), serving as its second division. 

The 2025–26 season featured six teams: Ft. Wayne 1927 Sport ClubKansas City BarillerosLafayette FC IndianaNorthern Indiana United North, and Ft. Wayne Summit City Sentinels.

The 2025–26 regular season champions were the Ft. Wayne 1927 Sport Club, finishing with a 7–1 record. 

Erik Castro was named Coach of the Year (Lafayette FC Indiana). 

Dan Pellegrine earned Goalkeeper of the Year honors (Ft. Wayne 1927 Sport Club). 

César Cruz was named Defensive Player of the Year (United North Indiana). 

Dom Alvarado of the Kansas City Barilleros had a standout season, earning multiple honors, including Most Valuable Player (MVP), Golden Boot (most goals), Playmaker Award (most assists), and Top Scorer (most total points).
