MAJOR LEAGUE INDOOR SOCCER EXTENDED WELCOMES FC INDIANA
Chicago, Illinois [Oct. 3, 2025] — Major League Indoor Soccer Extended (MLISX) is proud to announce the addition of FC Indiana to its growing roster of teams.
Founded in 2000, FC Indiana brings decades of experience to the league, having competed in various semi-professional indoor circuits over the years. This move to MLISX marks a significant milestone for the club, offering a platform to compete at a higher level.
FC Indiana is based in Lafayette, but the team will play its home matches in Fort Wayne. The team will be led by Head Coach Erik Castro, who will also help shape the team's identity.
“[We are excited] to take this next step and compete on the national stage under coach Castro’s leadership,” said Chasity Smith, who serves in an administrative role for the organization. “I’m looking forward to strengthening our operations and ensuring we build the right foundation to grow at the professional level.”
Smith said the MLISX's vision to grow professional indoor soccer inspired the organization to join the league.
“Joining MLISX is the next natural step in our evolution," she said. “Our long-term goals are to establish FC Indiana as a respected and stable presence in professional indoor soccer, while also creating a pathway for players who want to compete at the highest levels. We aim to strengthen the club’s identity in Lafayette and beyond.”
