MATCH WEEK 10 PREVIEW: TEAMS FIGHT FOR PLAYOFF SEEDS

As we get into week ten of the Major League Indoor Soccer (MLIS) regular season, we get closer and closer to teams clinching playoff seeds. But with records, goal differentials and win percentages still close, anything can happen.

Currently, the Cleveland Crunch (Cleveland, Ohio) sit in first place with a 7-1 record, but Amarillo Bombers (Amarillo, Texas) trail closely behind with a 4-1 record. Canadian Crusaders (Toronto, Ontario) sit in third place with a 6-3 record, followed by Omaha Kings (Omaha, Neb.) in fourth with a 5-3 record.

The Chicago Mustangs (Chicago, Ill.) jumped to the fifth seed this weekend with a win over Omaha, bringing their record to 3-4.

This upcoming weekend, we will see the Mustangs and Crusaders go head-to-head for the second time this regular season. The first time the two matched up, Toronto came out on top with a 7-6 win.

Summit City United (Ft. Wayne, Ind.) will travel to Cleveland to take on the Crunch for the second time this season, while the Bombers will travel to Colorado to take on the Bucks. Those two went head-to-head last weekend, which resulted in a closely contested match and a 7-8 win for Amarillo.
