MATCH WEEK TWO: PITTSBURGH WINS IN LEAGUE DEBUT

CHICAGO, Ill., - November 24, 2025 — Match week two in Major League Indoor Soccer (MLIS) featured Bridge City FC’s (Pittsburgh, Penn.) league and 2025–26 season debut as they traveled to face the Summit City Sentinels (Ft. Wayne, Ind.).
This was Summit City’s second match of the season after falling to Red Cedar FC (Lansing, Mich.) in their opener.
Pittsburgh earned a 9–8 win, with the deciding goal scored by Jamie Luchini in the final seconds.
MATCH RECAP:
The first quarter opened with a goal from Ft. Wayne’s Richard Faleye. Luchini tied the match on the power play, and Eddy Yousak put Ft. Wayne back ahead to end the quarter 1-2.
Luchini scored the only goal of the second quarter on a shootout attempt, sending the game into halftime tied 2–2.
Nathan Dragisich put Pittsburgh up 3–2 early in the third, but Ft. Wayne scored three times to Pittsburgh’s one, taking a 4-5 lead into the fourth.
Ft. Wayne extended the lead to 4-7 in the early minutes of the fourth on goals from Roshan Gurung (shootout) and Imanol Hernandez (even strength).
Pittsburgh answered with goals from Jack Shearer (power play), Gabriel Norris and Dragisich to tie the match 7–7.
Gurung scored again to give Ft. Wayne an 7-8 lead; However, Luchini tied the match with 42 seconds remaining and scored again with nine seconds left to secure the 9-8 win.
