MLIS Makes Presence Known at USIndoor Conference in Las Vegas

Major League Indoor Soccer showed off its wares at the 23rd Annual USIndoor Facility Operators Conference and Tradeshow May 17-19 in Las Vegas. MLIS Commissioner Dominic Turcotte was on hand to meet-and-greet with arena operators and soccer industry representatives from across the country.

Coming off a successful first season, MLIS is focused on growth, and Turcotte has cited the league's desire to expand in regional pods of four or more teams to keep travel costs contained. Last week's conference brought a lot of new interest, especially in the west.

MLIS will get the ball rolling on the 2023-24 season when team owners convene for league meetings May 31 in Chicago.

"The next few months are going to be pedal to the metal as we prepare for our second season, looking to raise the bar," said Turcotte. "We really want to see our existing teams take their organizations to the next level, while adding new teams to the mix."
