March 12, 2024 - Major League Indoor Soccer (MLIS) is thrilled to announce the launch of a professional indoor soccer league for women, set to debut in the 2024-25 season—and Chicago, Omaha and Colorado are the first three cities to commit to bringing on teams.

This initiative marks a significant milestone in the world of indoor soccer as it brings a long-overdue professional platform for women to showcase their talent, skills and passion for the sport.

The new women's league promises to deliver exciting action at a high skill level, providing fans with exciting matches and showcasing the incredible abilities of female athletes in the indoor soccer arena.
