New Ownership Ushers in Next Chapter for Professional Indoor Soccer in Colorado
DENVER, Colo. — Professional indoor soccer in Colorado is entering a new chapter as former Boulder United FC Head Coach Raymundo Reza assumes ownership of the club, signaling a transition to a new brand and long-term vision for the team.
Reza, who served as head coach during the 2025–2026 season, will lead the evolution of the organization while maintaining a strong foundation built by the existing roster. The majority of players are expected to remain.
“This is about building something sustainable and doing it the right way,” Reza said. “We’re keeping the core of what’s already been established, while continuing to grow the team and bring in additional talent from the region.”
A Colorado native, Reza brings more than a decade of professional indoor soccer experience to his new role. He enjoyed a 10-year playing career with the San Diego Sockers following his collegiate career at San Diego State University. After returning to Colorado, Reza transitioned into coaching while also launching a successful custom apparel business.
His leadership is also supported by experienced figures in the indoor soccer community, reinforcing a commitment to building a competitive and enduring franchise.
As part of the transition, the team is currently exploring new venue options within the Denver area. Discussions are underway with multiple arenas that would allow for increased fan engagement and a more sustainable game-day environment.
While a primary home venue is still being finalized, the team also plans to host a marquee match at the Denver Coliseum in the future, Reza said.
“Our goal is to create an exciting experience for fans while setting up a structure that works long term,” Reza added. “We’re being intentional about where we play and how we grow.”
