TAMPA BAY TERROR PROMOTED TO MAJOR LEAGUE INDOOR SOCCER

Chicago, Ill [July 31, 2026] — Major League Indoor Soccer (MLIS) announced today that the Tampa Bay Terror FC of Tampa, Fla., will play in the MLIS beginning with the 2026–27 season.

Tampa competed last season in Major League Indoor Soccer Extended (MLISX), the second-division sister league of MLIS. 

The club’s move to MLIS marks an important step in its continued development and reflects the organization’s commitment to growing professional indoor soccer in the Tampa Bay region.

“This is an exciting moment for the Tampa Bay Terror and everyone who has supported our organization,” said Andrew Quijano, team owner. “Competing in MLISX gave us the opportunity to grow as a club, strengthen our foundation and prepare for this next step. We are proud to represent Tampa Bay at the MLIS level and look forward to competing against some of the league’s top organizations.”

With the addition of Tampa, MLIS strengthens its presence in Florida and creates a natural regional connection with Orlando Atletico Pro.
