EASTERN DIVISION

The Cincinnati Swerve were idle last week...and coming up, the Swerve play in Grand Rapids on January 21.

The Cleveland Crunch were idle last week, but announced that they will retire the jerseys of Zoran Karic and Hector Marinaro this season and started a promotional blitz for their home opening weekend, January 28-29...and coming up, the Crunch still have almost three weeks to prepare for their January 28 home opener against Detroit.

The Detroit Waza Flo gave up a pair of goals 24 seconds apart that turned a 2-1 lead into a 3-2 deficit and fell to 0-3 with a 5-3 loss to Rapid City. Omar Lahbiki scored a hat trick for the Waza Flo...and coming up, Detroit will be off until they visit Cleveland on January 28.

Short-handed Rapid City FC patiently rallied from a 2-1 deficit for a 5-3 win in Detroit on Sunday. Miguel Cervantes and Jay Toric combined for 21 saves and newly-signed TJ Ifaturoti scored two goals in his MLIS debut...and coming up, Grand Rapids will host Cincinnati on January 21.

CENTRAL DIVISION

The Chicago Mustangs were idle last week...and coming up, the Mustangs are off until January 15 when they host the Omaha Kings.

The Illinois State Line Falcons visit Brew City on January 21 with both teams looking for their first MLIS win.

SOUTHERN DIVISION

The Austin Emerald only could hold Houston scoreless for 54 seconds and then trailed the final 59:06 in a 14-4 loss to the Bolt. Four different players scored for the Emerald, who fell to 0-3...and coming up, the Emerald are off until January 28 when they head to Springfield.

The Houston Bolt bolted to a 6-0 lead and cruised to a 14-4 win over Austin. Every field player scored for the Bolt except Callum Rai...and coming up, the Bolt's next three games are against Springfield, starting on January 21.

The Springfield Demize suffered a devastating 11-1 loss to Wichita in their first road game of the season, but they get a quick shot at redemption Saturday when they host the Selection...and coming up, the Demize will host Wichita on January 14 to start a three-game homestand.

The Wichita Selection had a successful home opener, rolling to an 11-1 win over Springfield. Andric McGill had a hat trick and three other players had two goals each...and coming up, the Selection start a three-game road trip on Saturday in Springfield and will return home on February 12.
