EASTERN DIVISION

The Cincinnati Swerve were idle last week...and coming up, the Swerve play in Grand Rapids on Saturday.

The Cleveland Crunch were idle last week...and coming up, the Crunch have less than two weeks to prepare for their much-anticipated January 28 home opener against Detroit.

The Detroit Waza Flo were idle last week...and coming up, Detroit will be off until they visit Cleveland on January 28.

Rapid City FC was idle last week...and coming up, Grand Rapids hosts Cincinnati on Saturday for Superhero and Princess Night. Kids who dress up as their favorite superhero, princess, or Disney character will gain free admission. First responders showing an ID will also be admitted free.

CENTRAL DIVISION

The Brew City Legends are now Brew City United. Under new ownership and a revised schedule, United will assume the Legends 0-2 record and will retain Head Coach Lito Zabala, and much of the roster.

The Chicago Mustangs lost a 9-8 heartbreaker to the Omaha Kings, falling a game behind the 3-0 Kings. The Mustangs led 8-7 with less than four minutes left in the game, but Omaha rallied to flip the lead with two late goals...and coming up, the Mustangs will look to pull back into a tie for first place when they visit Omaha on Saturday.

The Illinois State Line Falcons were idle last week...and coming up, the Falcons host Omaha on January 28.

The Omaha Kings rallied to beat Chicago 9-8 on the road to improve to 3-0. Manuel Lira had four goals and Daniel Zuckweiler had three, including the game-winner with 14 seconds remaining...and coming up, the Kings will host Chicago on Saturday with first place on the line once again.

SOUTHERN DIVISION

The Austin Emerald were idle last week...and coming up, the Emerald are off until January 28 when they host Springfield.

The Houston Bolt were idle last week...and coming up, the Bolt's next three games are against Springfield, who host the Bolt on Saturday and Sunday.

The Springfield Demize recovered from an 11-1 road loss to Wichita, and pulled back ahead of Selection in the standings with an 8-7 home win over Wichita. Eight different players scored for Springfield and Hunter Gilliam led the team with four points (one goal and three assists)..and coming up, the Demize will host the 2-0 Houston Bolt on Saturday and Sunday.

The Wichita Selection fell to 1-1 after an 8-7 loss in Springfield. Radley Arnold's four goals and an assist and Trey Silmon's four points were not enough to lift Wichita...and coming up, the Selection are idle until February 4.
