EASTERN DIVISION
The Cincinnati Swerve were idle last week...and coming up, the Swerve play in Grand Rapids on January 21.
The Cleveland Crunch were idle last week, but announced that MetroHealth will serve as the team’s exclusive medical provider for a third consecutive season...and coming up, the Crunch still have almost four weeks to prepare for their January 28 home opener against Detroit.
The Detroit Waza Flo were idle last week...and coming up, Detroit will host Rapid City FC on Sunday.
Rapid City FC was idle last week...and coming up, Grand Rapids will kick off the 2023 portion of their schedule January 8 in Detroit.
CENTRAL DIVISION
The Brew City Legends were idle last week...and coming up, the Legends will next play in Rockford on January 7 against the Falcons.
The Chicago Mustangs were idle last week...and coming up, the Mustangs are off until January 15 when they host the Omaha Kings.
The Illinois State Line Falcons lost a tight 5-4 game in Omaha on Saturday afternoon. Four different players scored for the Falcons, whose rally came up short. Goalkeeper Cesar Aceves, making his season debut, was named the game's First Star..and coming up, the Falcons host the Brew City Legends on Saturday, with both teams looking for their first MLIS win.
The Omaha Kings had a successful home opener and improved to 2-0 with a 5-4 win over Illinois in front of a standing room only crowd. Manuel Lira continued his hot start with a pair of goals...and coming up, the Kings hit the road again on January 15 when they face the Chicago Mustangs.
SOUTHERN DIVISION
The Austin Emerald were idle last week...and coming up, the Emerald get a rematch with the Bolt in Houston on January 7.
The Houston Bolt continued signing players for their PASL affiliate, and on Wednesday made a live appearance on Deportes Con Daniel Mejia...and coming up, the Bolt home opener is on January 7 against Austin.
The Springfield Demize were idle last week...and coming up, the Demize will head to Wichita on January 7.
The Wichita Selection signed Jose Ocampo, Radley Arnold, Cody Benedict, Jorge Rodriguez, Juan Rivera, Josh Hansen, Alex Morgan, and Erik Barragan for the 2022-23 season...and coming up, the Selection home opener is on January 7.
