EASTERN DIVISION

The Cincinnati Swerve lost their final two games against Cleveland last year 18-1 and 22-2, and lost their hope opener to Rapid City last week 8-1. The Crunch were 12-0 last season. So naturally, the Swerve came back from 8-5 down to surprise the Crunch 9-8 to even their 2022-23 record at 1-1. Manny Adjei scored the game-winning goal and the Swerve shut out the Crunch over the game's final 29:37...and coming up, the Swerve will host the Detroit Waza Flo on Saturday.

Despite four goals by Tom Beck, the Cleveland Crunch saw an 8-5 lead turn into a 9-8 loss in their season opener in Cincinnati...and coming up, the Crunch will continue their season-opening road trip in Grand Rapids on Saturday and in Detroit on Sunday.

The Detroit Waza Flo will welcome the Cleveland Crunch to their home opener this Sunday.

Rapid City FC unveiled their jerseys and announced the formation of a reserve team...and coming up, Rapid City will host Cleveland in their December 17 home opener.

CENTRAL DIVISION

The Brew City Legends fell hard in their home opener, dropping an 8-0 decision to the Omaha Kings...and coming up, the Legends play their first road game Saturday in Chicago.

The Chicago Mustangs crashed the Illinois State Line Falcons first home game, sending the hosts to a 7-4 defeat...and coming up, the Mustangs will welcome Brew City to Grand Sports Arena this Saturday.

The Illinois State Line Falcons dropped a 7-4 decision to the Mustangs...and coming up, the Falcons are off until they close out the year in Omaha on New Year's Eve.

Omaha Kings celebrated the start of the season with an 8-0 win in Milwaukee Saturday...and coming up, the Kings are off until they host Illinois on New Year's Eve.

SOUTHERN DIVISION

The Austin Emerald's MLIS baptism by fire was memorable for all the wrong reasons. Austin went up to Springfield and lost 24-1...and coming up, with nowhere to go but up, the Emerald will prepare to host the Houston Bolt on Saturday.

The Houston Bolt scrimmaged against the PASL's OKC Oblivion...and coming up, the Bolt season opener is on December 17 in Austin.

The Springfield Demize made it look easy in a 24-1 home opening win over Austin. The Demize showed no mercy, adding 10 fourth quarter goals to the final margin of victory. Dominique Salcedo had four goals, leading a group of eight players who had multi-goal games...and coming up, the Demize saved up some goals for the winter because their next game isn't for four weeks.

Wichita Selection teamed up with PASL Women's Team ICT Aztecs for a charity co-ed game last Saturday...and coming up, the Selection home opener is on January 7.
