The Week That Was 2/8: Toronto, Boulder, Salt Lake City, Pittsburgh and Rockford Secure Wins

Chicago, Illinois – February 15, 2026 – Match week fourteen in Major League Indoor Soccer (MLIS) delivered plenty of action.

The Toronto Canadian Crusaders, atop the North Conference, continued their winning ways, while Salt Lake City Utah Uprising and Boulder United FC Halo also secured regulation victories. Meanwhile, Rockford Thunder secured an overtime win against the Cleveland Crunch Saturday, but came up short in another overtime match against Pittsburgh Bridge City FC on Monday.

Here’s a look back at the weekend’s action:

Toronto vs. Ft. Wayne - Saturday, Feb. 14

Toronto secured a 8-5 road win over Ft. Wayne Saturday, remaining undefeated and holding the top spot in the North Conference standings.

Dallas vs. Boulder - Saturday, Feb. 14

Boulder controlled the match from start to finish, defeating Dallas 14–1 Saturday. Brayan Aguirre opened the scoring, while Andre J Lavalle, Luis Reyes, Orlin Castro, Dominik Danis, Ibrahim Alsaaid, Acxer Wayand Jacob Taubeneck all found the net before halftime.

Boulder continued to extend the lead in the second half, with Jovany Herrera scoring twice and Danis adding his second of the night. Aguirre also recorded his second goal, and Andre Arendt and Eduardo Reza added late tallies. Dallas’ lone goal came from Angel Ruiz in the third quarter, but Boulder outshot Dallas 53–23 and closed out a decisive home win.

Cleveland vs. Rockford  - Saturday, Feb. 14 (Overtime)

Rockford edged Cleveland 9–8 in overtime after a back-and-forth contest that featured six ties and multiple late lead changes. Landon Kuhn scored twice for Cleveland, while Gabriel Pewu added two goals, including one late in the fourth quarter to give the Crunch an 8–7 lead. Ma'Cain Spragling recorded a goal and an assist, and Antonio Manfut tied the game earlier in the fourth with a goal against a six-attacker setup. Cleveland matched Rockford shot-for-shot, finishing with 22 shots to Rockford’s 21.

Rockford answered Cleveland’s late push when Alejandro Corona scored with 35 seconds left to force overtime, setting up the winner by Emanuel Mercado, who completed a four-goal night at 2:11 of OT. Mercado’s scoring performance proved to be the difference as Rockford closed out a narrow home win.

Las Vegas vs. Salt Lake City - Sunday, Feb. 15

Salt Lake City built an early cushion and held off a late push from Las Vegas to earn a 13–10 home win. Utah scored six times in the opening quarter, with goals from Diego Silva, Gui Leme, Chris Reyes, Alec Marshall and Ronaldo Moreno to set the tone. Moreno finished with two goals and an assist, while Leonardo Sobreira and Reyes each added multi-goal performances as Salt Lake City maintained the lead through the middle of the match.

Las Vegas made several runs, led by Alejandro Silva, who recorded six goals, including back-to-back tallies early in the fourth quarter. Ntumba Kasongo added a hat trick in the final period. Las Vegas outshot Utah 37–32, but Utah responded each time.

Pittsburgh vs. Rockford - Monday, Feb. 16 (Overtime)

Pittsburgh built an early lead and held on for a 7–6 overtime win over Rockford after a dramatic second-half comeback by Rockford. Gabriel Norris, Jack Shearer and Marc Esqueda scored in the second quarter to give Pittsburgh a 3–0 halftime lead, which grew to 4–0 early in the third on a goal by Nathan Dragisich. Anthony Rowan later added another as Pittsburgh kept control through much of the match.

Rockford rallied behind Victor Isaac Mora Gomez and a hat trick from Diego Bolanos, scoring five unanswered goals in the third and fourth quarters to take a 6–5 lead. Joshua Dimatteo tied the game with 24 seconds left to force overtime, and Austin Rocke delivered the winner at 9:53 of OT, finishing off a pass from Shearer to secure the victory for Pittsburgh.
