The Week That Was 10/23/22...and Coming Up


Cincinnati Swerve Technical Director Craig Rhodis led the USA567 Men's and Women's National Teams into Chihuahua, Mexico and gained three wins in four games. The women won both of their games over Mexico via overtime shootouts, while the men split their two games. Coming up...the Swerve will hold open tryouts on November 6.

The Cleveland Crunch hired legendary former defender Benny Dargle, who spent most of his indoor career with the Cleveland Force and Crunch, as their new Head Coach. The Crunch also appeared at two Trunk or Treat events. Coming up...the Crunch host open tryouts on November 19.

The Detroit Waza open their season on the road on December 17. 

Rapid City FC was busy signing players. Nermin Crnkic became the first player to sign with an MLIS team, and he was quickly joined by Stefan St. Louis, Job Potter, Cole Russell, and Jacob Potts. Coming up...Rapid City opens their season in Cincinnati on December 3.


Last month the Brew City Legends hired Lito Zabala as their Head Coach. Zabala is a former Milwaukee Wave player.

Kelly Flores of the Chicago Mustangs PASL women's team made her debut with the USA567 Women's National Team in Mexico. Coming up...the Mustangs are hosting open tryouts on November 12.

The Illinois State Line Falcons hired former Mustangs goalkeeper Jesus Flores as their first Head Coach. The Falcons hosted open tryouts on Saturday and Sunday.

The Omaha Kings became the latest former M2 team to join MLIS and they held an open tryout on Saturday.


The Austin Emerald held their second open tryout on Saturday.

The Houston Bolt hosted open tryouts on October 14 and 15 and opened training camp the following week. Coming up...the team expects to put the finishing touches on their MLIS and PASL rosters in the next two weeks.

Coming up...the Springfield Demize will host an open tryout on November 12.

Goalkeeper Jose Ocampo of the Wichita Selection made an appearance with the USA567 Men's National Team on Saturday after a weekend call-up. Coming up...Selection will host an open tryout on November 11 and 12.
