THE WEEK THAT WAS: TORONTO, SALT LAKE CITY AND ROCKFORD SECURE WINS
CHICAGO, ILLINOIS — (November 30, 2025) — Match week three in Major League Indoor Soccer (MLIS) wrapped with two wins for the Toronto Canadian Crusaders and one win each for the Rockford Thunder and the Salt Lake City Utah Uprising.
Toronto visited Chicago for back-to-back games against the Chicago Mustangs, while the Las Vegas Turf Monsters traveled to Utah for their league and season debut against Salt Lake City. Ft. Wayne Summit City Sentinels also made a trip to Rockford but fell short.

Ft. Wayne vs. Rockford — Nov. 28
Rockford defeated Ft. Wayne 6–5 in a close matchup with several momentum swings. Lorenzo Cardoso opened the scoring for Ft. Wayne, with Santiago Patinho responding quickly for Rockford. Cardoso added another to give Ft. Wayne a 2–1 lead at the end of the first quarter. Rockford took control in the second and third periods, scoring four unanswered goals to build a 2-5 advantage. Ft. Wayne closed the gap with two late goals in the third and added a penalty-shot goal in the final minute, but Rockford’s earlier scoring run ultimately secured the win.
Toronto vs. Chicago — Nov. 29
Toronto defeated the Chicago Mustangs 8–5 on Saturday. Toronto opened the scoring through Osman Hussein, with Chicago quickly responding via Eduardo Nava. The lead traded hands several times, and the teams were tied 5–5 heading into the fourth quarter. Toronto pulled away in the final period, scoring three unanswered goals to secure the win, with Raheem Rose contributing a hat trick and playing a key role in the comeback.
Toronto vs. Chicago — Nov. 30
Toronto defeated Chicago 6–5 on Sunday in another closely contested matchup. Toronto opened the scoring with Osman Hussein, and Chicago quickly responded with a goal from Gabriel Jurado. The teams traded goals through the first three periods, with Toronto pulling ahead in the third quarter with two goals from Hussein and another by Leaford Allen. Chicago narrowed the gap in the fourth period, including a late penalty kick goal by Nava, but Toronto held on for the one-goal win.
Las Vegas vs. Salt Lake City — Nov. 30
Salt Lake City defeated Las Vegas 9-3 on Sunday. Jordan Peña opened the scoring for Salt Lake City, and Las Vegas quickly tied through Luis Vargas. Salt Lake City pulled ahead in the second quarter with three goals, and although Las Vegas added scores in the second and third periods, Salt Lake City maintained control. Salt Lake City extended their lead in the third and fourth quarters to secure the victory.
