Toronto Claims 2026 MLIS Championship

Toronto rallied from an early deficit to defeat the reigning champions, Amarillo Bombers, 6–4 and capture the 2026 championship.

Amarillo came out strong, building a 3–1 lead in the first quarter behind goals from Kike Canez, Cleberson Rodrigues, and Miguel Reyes. Toronto responded and steadily worked back into the match, with Leaford Allen leading the charge with a hat trick, including the game-tying goal in the third quarter to make it 4–4.

In the fourth, Toronto completed the comeback as Osman Hussein scored the go-ahead goal, followed by an insurance goal from Yonis Jama to secure the title.

Despite being outshot 20–17, Toronto capitalized on their chances and used a dominant second half to claim the 2026 championship.
