Omaha Kings (2-0) at Chicago Mustangs (2-0)
Season series: First Meeting

The Omaha Kings went 2-1 against the Chicago Mustangs during the 2020-21 M2 season and the teams didn't face each other in 2021-22. Chicago won the teams' only meeting at Grand Sports Arena. One team will leave Sunday's game with the first blemish on their 2022-23 record.

Michael Marchionna leads the Mustangs with four goals through two games and goalkeeper Ricardo Porcayo has a sterling 2.55 GAA, while Manuel Lira has lit it up with seven points in Omaha's first two games and goalkeeper Efren Flores has a minuscule 2.45 GAA.
