Northern Indiana's United North Joins MLISX as Expansion Club

Major League Indoor Soccer Extended (MLISX) is proud to announce United North, based in Northern, Indiana, as the newest club to join the league.

United North enters MLISX with a competitive history across several leagues, including playing five seasons in the United Premier Soccer League (UPSL), one season in the Professional American Soccer League (PASL) where they finished top 8, and one season in the Major Arena Soccer League 3 (MASL3).

The club’s move to MLISX follows previous campaigns in PASL and MASL3, both experiences that United North leadership says prepared them for this next step.

“A new challenge is what brought us to MLISX,” said Art Martinez, club owner. “Playing PASL and MASL3 previously helped us make the move, and we’re excited for the future experiences our players and club will gain by joining a new competition.”

Martinez added, “We’re excited to see the different types of talent that will emerge as we continue to compete at a higher level. Our long‑term goal is to earn promotion and bring top‑tier indoor soccer to Northern Indiana.”

The club is also exploring Classic City Center as a potential future home venue.
