Chicago, Illinois - Week eight in the Major League Indoor Soccer (MLIS) featured three matches. Amarillo Bombers recorded a 20-2 win over Dallas CD La Cuadra, Toronto Canadian Crusaders defeated Lansing Red Cedar FC 11-8 in a back-and-forth matchup, and Salt Lake City Utah Uprising scored twice late in the fourth quarter to secure a 7-5 win over Boulder United FC.

Dallas vs. Amarillo (Saturday)
Amarillo defeated Dallas 20–2 Saturday evening, scoring four goals in the first quarter and extending the lead to 11–0 by halftime. Amarillo outshot Dallas 37–13 and controlled possession for most of the match.
Dallas scored its first goal in the third quarter when
Chris Galarza converted at 11:20.
Jonathan Sandoval added the second Dallas goal in the fourth quarter.
Amarillo added nine goals in the second half, including three power-play goals in the fourth quarter. Dallas was assessed multiple penalties in the final period, which limited their ability to defend. Esteban, Hernandez and Canez were named the three stars of the match based on point production.
Toronto vs. Lansing (Saturday)
Toronto defeated Lansing 11–8 in a match that remained close through most of regulation. Toronto led 2–1 after the first quarter and extended the advantage to 6–4 by halftime. Lansing tied the match three times in the first half before Toronto regained the lead.
In the third quarter, Lansing cut the score to 6–5 before Toronto responded with three straight goals to take a 9–5 lead. Lansing scored twice in the final minute of the quarter to reduce the deficit to 9–7. Toronto added two more goals in the fourth quarter from López and Mella, while Bagley scored Lansing’s final goal. Toronto maintained possession for extended stretches and converted key scoring chances to secure the win.
Boulder vs. Salt Lake City (Sunday)
Salt Lake City defeated Boulder 7–5 after scoring two goals in the final two minutes of the match. Salt Lake City broke the tie with 1:21 remaining in regulation on a goal by
Gui Leme assisted by
Leonardo Sobreira.
Jordan Peña added an empty-net goal at the end of the match to secure the win. Sobreira finished with three assists, while Peña and
Chris Reyes each scored twice for Salt Lake City.
With the week eight results completed, Toronto remains in first place in the North Conference with a 5-0 record, followed by the Cleveland Crunch and Pittsburgh Bridge City, both of which are unbeaten through two matches.
In the South Conference, Orlando Atletico Pro holds first place with a 5-1 record, with Salt Lake City and Amarillo close behind.
